Scott Dodsworth

Scott Dodsworth joined H+K in London in January 2019 and brings over 15 years’ experience in public affairs, government relations and reputation management. Scott will work to strengthen H+K’s political offering bringing his corporate affairs and government relations expertise working across all sectors.

Scott has a strong network of senior political and government stakeholders in London, Washington, Brussels and Canberra together with skills in developing and maintaining complex relationships with parliamentary and government audiences around the world.

The former Chief of Staff at global defence, aerospace and security company, BAE Systems plc. Scott joined the BAE Systems Government Relations team in late 2010 after five years at FleishmanHillard, becoming Global Chief of Staff to Chief Executive Ian King in 2015. Following three years as Chief of Staff, Scott was appointed Head of Strategic Planning at BAE Systems Australia in March 2018, working closely with UK and Australia businesses and governments on the successful £20bn procurement from the UK of the Royal Australian Navy’s future frigates.

Scott is experienced in sensitive relationship management of senior stakeholders and providing trusted advice on the political landscape to ExCo and Board members of major companies.

Before BAE Systems, Scott worked in public affairs at FleishmanHillard, covering a wide-range of clients in technology, communications, energy, financial services, security and defence.
