Chris Pratt

Chris is a Managing Director of the Energy + Industrials team and has worked in communications consultancy for over 15 years, focusing on energy and related businesses for the last six years, first in the Middle East and then in London. He specialises in providing advice to clients in the UK and from a variety of international markets on integrated campaigns involving content, media relations, policy and stakeholder communications, digital engagement and crisis and issues management. Chris is also part of an energy sector working group for H+K in EMEA.

Chris has worked across the energy value chain and for many large industrial organisations ranging from industrial gases, to aviation and fuel cells to steel products. Chris has also worked on a range of energy industry issues including Arctic exploration and production (E&P), shale gas, climate change and carbon markets, gas advocacy, safety and the impact of E&P sound on marine life. In the renewables and retail space Chris has worked on policy reform and subsidy support mechanisms, public attitudes to renewables, market reform, and regulator and stakeholder engagement.

Before returning to the UK in 2010 Chris spent nearly five years working for H+K in the Middle East in a variety of roles across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, providing him a unique perspective on these important emerging markets. Chris also led the development of H+K’s expertise in energy and industrial sectors in the Middle East.

Chris graduated from Kingston University, England with an honours degree in Business Studies. Chris is an associate member of the UK Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
