Christian Bodden

Christian Bodden is Director at Hill+Knowlton Strategies. He advises clients on internal communication, leadership communication and employee engagement.

Christian joined H+K from RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, a private hospital operator, where headed the internal and online communications department. Prior to that, he was with Deekeling Arndt Advisors in Communications, a leading consultancy specialized in change communication. At DAA, he advised clients on complex communication challenges. This included the restructuring of wind energy company REpower Systems SE, today Senvion GmbH, as well as the restructuring and the corporate culture process of Deutsche Apotheker– und Ärztebank.

Before DAA, Christian was responsible for internal and external communications as well as for marketing at company health insurance fund BKK Aktiv and fund service provider Dealis Fund Operations. At the latter, his particular focus lay on integrating the employees of DekaBank, Allianz Global Investors and Commerzbank under one new umbrella brand.

Christian started his career 15 years ago in the strategic communications consultancy Text + Concept AG in Essen/Germany. As a communications consultant and copywriter, he accompanied strategic projects, such as the outsourcing of chemical park operator Bayer Industry Services (now Currenta) and the political communication of Bayer AG with regard to the European chemicals directive REACH.

Christian graduated in communication, linguistics and social sciences, and speaks regularly on the success factors of internal communications and digital participation formats.
